History/Biography

August 1998:
Project founded under the name Roses of Darkness. Release of the single "Rest in Terrifying Agony". Female guest vocals: SW. First URL get.to/rod.

August 1999:
Name changed in Tartosgardh. Release of the first full album "Seelenopfer braucht der Tod". Female guest vocals: Lady Elhalyn. URL get.to/tartosgardh.

March 2001:
Moved to Germany. URL tartosgardh.de.

October 2001:
Release of the second album "Dragonstorms". Vocals recorded in Martin Wiese's (Enid) Wiesensound Studio, Porta Westfalica.

July / August 2002:
Returned to Austria. URL tartosgardh.at.

August 2003:
Tartosgardh celebrates its fifth anniversary. Release of the third album "Nebelleben". Vocals recorded in Stefan Traunmüller's (Golden Dawn) Dreamforce Studio, Salzburg.

Winter 2004 - April 2006:
Tartosgardh almost inactive due to my studies. Only a few updates (e.g. photography).

May 2006:
I successfully finished my studies. Tartosgardh is active again.
