BIOGRAPHY

The Gothic Metal band “Seven Dark Eyes” was born in April 2002 thanks to an idea of Pondro (now he’s the bass-player of “Delirium X-tremens”) and Luca (guitars). They wanted to give life to their passion for Gothic Metal and for some bands like “Lacuna Coil” and “The Gathering”. The line-up was soon completed with Fabio Perucchini (guitar), Thomas Manfroi (drums), Alessandro (keyboards) and Francesca (lead vocals).

After some changes of line-up, on 2004 the band reached a balance with the entry of Simone “Scar” (keyboards), Max Cassol (bass) and Chiara Viel (lead vocals). They recorded their first mini-cd “Lost Dreams”, a little concept based on dreams, composed of 3 tracks plus an instrumental intro. The records were made in the Aton Studio of Padova (Italy) with the collaboration of the producer Fabio Lentola.

The band go on writing new songs and became well-known thanks to their performances which were appreciated by people for the energy of the show and for the particular dark-goth atmosphere that the band creates on stage. The first full-lenght album “Across Oneiric Lands” was recorded by the producers Tony Fontò and Nick Savio on 2006 in the “Remaster Studios” of Vicenza (Italy) and it’s composed of 9 tracks for a total of about 45 min.

The album achieved widespread success among the fans and among the experts, so the band signed a contract with the Label “Underground Symphony”. In June of 2008 the band had to change line-up another time and stopped the collaboration with Chiara. After the audition of several singers, Monica Calvieri became the new voice of “Seven Dark Eyes”. The understanding between “Seven Dark Eyes” and Monica was excellent, so they immediately started to write new songs. They also increased their live performances and they took part in some important Festivals as “Sunvalley in Rock” and “Badia Rocks” with several great bands as “Extrema”, “White Skull”, “Raintime”, “End of Green”, “Rising Fear”, “Necrodeath”, “Brainstorm” and “Elvenking”.
