CRUCIFIX was 'born' in early 1999 as a session band. The members of |CRUCIFIX| still be the members of the other black metal bands. Ruby and Sacrefix from 'Bizzartum Azalian', Tablo from 'Mausoleum'. Between 1999-2000 period, |CRUCIFIX| has a Vacuum time because the business of the members. In about early year of 2000, toward a local event. |CRUCIFIX| waked up by the members to join in that event. Because we felt same in ideology and concept, at last we decided |CRUCIFIX| would not be a session band again. After several times, Ruby, Sacrefix and Tablo left their previous band 'cause the different perception in music concept, and to concentrate with the band.
In the early|CRUCIFIX|was 'born', we often played the covers songs from Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir, Rotting Christ, etc. After we felt have a concept and character which suitable with the band, CRUCIFIX recorded their first song called 'Blazing Beauty' in may 2001 at Wiger Studio Bandung. six months later, November 2001, CRUCIFIX recorded the 2nd song 'Syair Sangkakala' at Dialog Studio Bandung.
With the demo as references, we met the Firstwave records. After they listened with the demo, they felt interest to released Crucifix's full length album. After have a negotiation with them, at last we signed up the contract with them. In june-july 2002, CRUCIFIX entered the studio to record the songs for the album called 'The Worst Dream of Beyond Forest'
