BIOGRAPHY

The gothic metal band "Æmbermoon" from the Rhein-Main area was originated in 2000 when we decided to arrange a "real" band from our previously laid-back project. In our songs the various styles of each band member are expressed. The sound is particularly affected by the classical voice of lead vocalist Petra Block who also plays the flute in some songs. Guitarist and songwriter Jürgen Kappes and Bassplayer Norbert Seufert are in charge of the metallic sound. Since 2005 they're being supported by guitarist and violinist Erik Ferner. Together with keyboard and background vocalist Indra Ottich, inspired by electronic music, and the progressive played drums from Matthias Block, Æmbermoon creates a varied and impressive atmosphere to the lyrical text.
